Finally! It was confirmed that Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent would be Miguel Cotto, a Puerto Rican boxer who has been also one of the famous boxer in the world of boxing. A boxer who always do his best to perform well in the ring and never give up even he is already injured and has blood on his face. We all known that Miguel Cotto suffered a lot from his past fight with Antonio Margarito because of the injury he got from the fight that lead him to hibernate for awhile in able for him to heal and bring back his spirit in boxing.
But then again Miguel Cotto continues to fight against his injury and make himself as fit as he is, in able for him to to be back again in the ring and to retain again his title as the WBO welterweight champion, gladly he made it with the split decision of the judges that makes him retained again his title. According to Arum the next opponent of Manny Pacquiao would be Miguel Cotto, another history of boxing will be held again. Well let’s wait if Miguel Cotto can beat down the future “Hero” of the Philippines who has been one of the most famous boxer in the history of world boxing because of it’s phenomenal power, passion, kindness, discipline, self- confidence, and faith in God that leads him into one of the best Athletes of the 21st Century.

De La Salle Univeristy - Manila announces the closure of the campus from June 4 to 14, 2009. There was an exchange student (21 years old) reported to have H1N1 Flu (+), that is why DLSU-M decided to closed the Taft Ave. campus so that the disease will be prevented to spread among the student and to the other people too, and also in able for the students to be quarantine for 10 days so that they will be able to know if they are positive to H1N1 Flu, since this disease can be easily transmitted from person to person.
The case is a female foreign student who arrived in the country on May 12. DOH confirmed today, June 3, that the student contracted the virus.
The student has been admitted in a healthcare facility and is being closely monitored by medical practitioners.
DLSU officials have met with DOH Secretary Dr. Francisco T. Duque III and are closely coordinating with other Department of Health key personnel regarding the case.
Prior to the incident, the University has instituted campus-wide precautionary measures such as information dissemination regarding the Influenza A H1N1 virus.

During the closure period, the Academic Community is advised to monitor flu-like symptoms, to stay away from crowds, and to practice good hygiene. If symptoms appear, the person should immediately seek medical attention. They should also inform the University Clinic of their condition by sending their full name and ID number through email at clinic@dlsu.edu.ph.
The community is also advised to regularly check the DLSU website at www.dlsu.edu.ph/Influenza_bulletin for updates and developments on the issue, and announcements on the rescheduling of University events and activities, etc. For inquiries, the Marketing Communication Office may be reached at 526-5913 during office hours.
